He is active in the areas of commercial law and insolvency, handling both contentious and non contentious matters.
He is also an expert of nonprofit organizations (associations, foundations, non governmental organizations active in the international cooperation sector), which he advises in all matters related to their activities and their relationships with sponsors, donors and lenders, at the domestic and European levels.
From 1988 to 1994 he worked at Studio legale Ardito of Rome, which then became Studio legale Verusio e Cosmelli. From 1994 to 1997 he practised in the areas of commercial law and insolvency at the law firm of Floriano d’Alessandro, professor of commercial law at the school of economics of Rome University La Sapienza. He then returned to Studio legale Verusio e Cosmelli, where he stayed until the beginning of 2007, providing legal assistance to small-medium companies, multinational groups and foreign sovereigns.
From 1987 to 1990, he was a teaching and research assistant to Natalino Irti, professor of private law at the law school of Rome University La Sapienza, where he was a contributor to collective academic publications and law reviews.
